Originally from Virginia, Henry Leeker is a Brooklyn-based writer of genre fiction. His short sci-fi horror film, “The Machine,” screened at the Washington West & Clifton Film Festivals, eventually garnering the “Best in Show” award at the Rosebud Film Festival. His short horror screenplay, “Switchman,” won the Best Short Horror screenplay awards at the SE New England Film Festival, the Maine Film Initiative, and the Upstate NY Horror Film Festival. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from George Mason University as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from Brooklyn College.
